It's called a bandwagon
Eureka ... I have finally succeeded in setting up a bare-bones Myspace page for 52nd City. Please, please add us as a Myspace buddy. I feel creepy with only "Tom" as our friend, too many folks have altered his pic in Photoshop for postin' and I find it very hard to look him in the eye these days. Apparently, we are an Aquarius who hates kids and doesn't smoke or drink. I guess that's the default setting? I like to think we are all default Aquarians. I think the 5th Dimension would be pleased.
Okay, I added ya guys. I guess that implies that I have a Myspace profile. Why would I ever do something like that?
Maybe Mayor Slay, Jim Shrewsbury, Mike McMillan and other pols should jump on MySpace. They could recruit tiny armies of hipsters and disaffected youth looking to "hook up." All that frustration could easily be channeled into politics!

That would be kinda hard, seeing as how the City Hall Novell network blocks MySpace.com.
Apparently it's listed as a Dating website. As is Classmates.com.
Also blocked is PlannedParenthood.org - it's categorized as Sex Education.
And FeedBurner.com - it's considered Advertising (and I guess it IS a tool I use to advertise my own blog!).
And the Missouri Gaming Commission site at www.mgc.mo.gov. It's categorized as Gambling.
I guess pols and bureaucrats have to access such content at home on their own time.
